Author Biographies

Nancy Bent

Nancy Bent is a Reference Librarian at La Grange Public Library, and was a Willowbrook Wildlife Center volunteer rehabilitator since 1997. She received a BA in Natural History from Oberlin College and an MS in Ecology from Rutgers University. Nancy was a former bird keeper at Brookfield Zoo and is a part–time instructor at the College of DuPage, co–teaching classes on care of wildlife in captivity.

Sandy Woltman

Sandy Woltman was a Wildlife Specialist for 18 years at Willowbrook Wildlife Center and she has been an active wildlife rehabilitator since 1991. She received a BS in Wildlife Science from Purdue University and is a part–time instructor at the College of DuPage, teaching classes on care of wildlife in captivity. Sandy has been an NWRA board member since 2002 and is a vice president.
