Abstract

Antibiotics are a valuable tool in veterinary medicine. Like any tool, however, if not used appropriately, antibiotics may lead to unwanted consequences.

Author Biography

Trudi Chepey, Minnesota Wildlife Assistance Cooperative

Dr. Chepey was a wildlife rehabilitator for several years before deciding to go to veterinary school. After graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, she returned to wildlife rehabilitation as a veterinarian. She is currently on the MWAC board of directors.
