Abstract

This paper is dedicated to the rehabilitators
who have so graciously shared their knowledge over the years and, of course, to the great–spirited and supremely confident animals that rehabilitators work diligently to foster and return to their rightful place in nature.

Author Biography

Sarah Rowe, Squirrel Rescue

Sarah Rowe has been licensed to rehabilitate small mammals for 18 years. She specializes in squirrels and also works with opossums. Her knowledge of the needs of new rehabilitators drives her experience, study, seminars, and collaboration with other rehabilitators. She is the author of www.squirreltales.org, which has been available on-line since 1995.
